Hardware manufacturer Analogue, known for creating the exorbitantly priced yet stunning Nt, a version of the classic NES system Luxury Gamers, has once again outdone itself. In celebration of The Legend of Zelda franchise’s 30th anniversary, the company is releasing ten limited edition Nt units, each coated with 24-karat gold.

The luxurious 24-karat gold NES from Analogue is the epitome of extravagance. Known for producing the Nt, a stunning and expensive version of the classic NES system, Analogue has outdone itself by creating ten limited edition Nt units plated with 24-karat gold in celebration of The Legend of Zelda franchise’s 30th anniversary. Priced at $5,000, the system is ten times more expensive than its aluminum-encased predecessor and just as stunning. As an added bonus, each unit comes with a gold-colored cartridge of the original 1986 Zelda game, which started the legendary series.

Analogue, a game hardware maker known for its expensive Nt system, has released a limited edition 24-karat gold-plated Nt to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise. Priced at $5,000, it comes with a gold-colored cartridge of the original 1986 Zelda game and all the features of the original Nt system, including region-free capability, accessory ports for classic controllers and the NES Zapper for Duck Hunt, and digital upscaling with an optional HDMI adapter for modern TVs. While this luxurious NES may not be for everyone, it’s a dream come true for hardcore Nintendo fans and collectors with a taste for extravagance.

However, it is important to note that the gold-plated Nt is not a device that is accessible to everyone. With only 10 available units and a hefty price tag of $5,000, one could purchase almost 15 PlayStation 4 or Xbox One consoles for the same amount. Thus, only the most dedicated Nintendo fans and collectors, who have a penchant for luxury and a significant disposable income, will be able to indulge in this extravagance. Nonetheless, it doesn’t hurt to dream about owning one.
